Founded in 2008 by Ahmad Moalej, Stellaris Group is a Los Angeles- based family office that specializes primarily in franchise retail food services, but also in New Restaurant Development, NNN and Residential Multi-Family Investments. It’s former restaurant franchise investments were Dennys, Papa Johns, and Del Taco. Stellaris currently owns and operates 69 Carl’s Junior units located throughout California, Utah and Idaho, and plans to continue growing throughout the Western Region of the country in the coming year.
The Carl’s Jr. brand was strategically acquired because it meets the brand recipe for growth requirements Stellaris looks for: distinctive and relevant brand, bold restaurant development, superior franchise operating capability, and strong culture and talent.
With a high standard of performance called The Stellar Quality Method and a strong internal culture focused on building Stellar Leaders who embody our Core Values, Stellaris Group gathers its brand partners, employees and communities under it’s North Star to guide them towards Stellar operations and Stellar professional development.
